How Ceramic Coating Works

Step 2 — Paint correction (if needed): Any significant defects are addressed before coating. This is a separate step, quoted separately, and only done if your paint genuinely needs it. We won't sell correction work you don't need.

Step 3 — Surface preparation: The paint is cleaned, decontaminated with a clay bar, and wiped down with an IPA (isopropyl alcohol) solution to remove all polish residue and oils. The surface must be chemically clean before coating application.

Step 4 — Coating application: The ceramic coating is applied panel by panel with an applicator block and leveling cloth. Flash time and ambient conditions are monitored throughout. Application technique matters significantly — this is where professional application earns its cost.

Step 5 — Cure and inspection: The coating requires time to cure. We'll give you maintenance instructions: what to avoid in the first week, how to wash properly going forward, and what to expect from the coating's performance.
